On the Path to a White Coat

The Health Sciences Library teamed up last month with the PEACE, Inc. West-Side Family Resource Center to offer a unique experience for more than 20 middle school students. The students participated in various activities to gain a better understanding of careers in health care and at Upstate. Perhaps this early exposure to the health care field might inspire the next generation of health professionals to don the white coat from right here in our own backyard. Congrats to all involved in the project, which stands as a great example of the opportunities we can create for our communities.
