Library events

Here’s what’s happening at the library in February!

Celebrate Black History Month by reading a new fiction or classic book by a Black author. A curated selection of picks is available on the first floor of the library throughout the month.

Now through February 20th, check out the Blind Date with a Book display on the first floor of the library. Each book on the display includes a card with three facts about the book to help you choose the right fit for you. Check out the book at the front desk and unwrap it. Hopefully, it’s love at first sight!

Brighten up your study space with a paper heart sun catcher. All supplies provided; stop by whenever you’d like.

Make someone’s day by giving them a Valentine. We’ll provide valentines, stickers, and candy—you provide the love!

Therapy Dogs Vera, Gracie, and Bruce visit the library from 11:30-1pm!

Time for some spring cleaning! Join the Knitting and Crochet Club and the HSL in learning to crochet your own face scrubby. A perfect reusable way to start or continue your crochet journey. Supplies and instructions will be provided! Register to save your spot: https://libcal.upstate.edu/event/14140331
