Here’s what’s happening at the library in February!
- Black History Month Picks: Feb 1-28
Celebrate Black History Month by reading a new fiction or classic book by a Black author. A curated selection of picks is available on the first floor of the library throughout the month.
- Blind Date with a Book Display: Feb 6-20
Now through February 20th, check out the Blind Date with a Book display on the first floor of the library. Each book on the display includes a card with three facts about the book to help you choose the right fit for you. Check out the book at the front desk and unwrap it. Hopefully, it’s love at first sight!
- Make a Paper Sun Catcher: Feb 10-14
Brighten up your study space with a paper heart sun catcher. All supplies provided; stop by whenever you’d like.
- Write a Valentine for a Friend: Feb 12-14
Make someone’s day by giving them a Valentine. We’ll provide valentines, stickers, and candy—you provide the love!
- Therapy Dog Thursday: Feb 20
Therapy Dogs Vera, Gracie, and Bruce visit the library from 11:30-1pm!
- How to Crochet a Face Scrubby: Feb 24
Time for some spring cleaning! Join the Knitting and Crochet Club and the HSL in learning to crochet your own face scrubby. A perfect reusable way to start or continue your crochet journey.
