Closed Reserve Policy
Faculty have the option to place items on closed reserve for learners. Closed reserves are available at the library services desk and must be used within the library. There is a two hour restriction on the use of these materials during staffed hours. Upstate ID holders may check reserve materials out overnight; check out must occur in the hour before library closing and returned the next day at opening (see Library hours). Materials may also be used in the library during after hours.

Policies and Instructions for Faculty
In order to meet the information needs of your students, instructors must email email@example.com for books, journals and audiovisual materials.
Procedures and Deadlines
Please fill out the necessary forms and return them to the Library at least two weeks prior to the beginning of the course (or before use is anticipated for a particular item) so that materials which are in circulation can be retrieved and processed for reserve use. Requests for materials not presently owned should be submitted at least eight weeks in advance in order to allow for purchase order considerations.
Reserve requests are processed in the order in which they are received. Lists received after the deadline will be processed as soon as possible.
In addition, we are attempting to place all the required textbooks on reserve. We would appreciate if you could inform us of the materials by filling out the form marking it "Required Texts".
Personally owned material will be accepted, but should be submitted with appropriate information one week before it is assigned for class use.
Journals will not be placed on reserve.
