Cochrane Library
The Library contains multiple evidence based databases including the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, the Cochrane Controlled Clinical Trials Register and the Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effectiveness which can be searched simultaneously using medical subject headings (MeSH) and textwords. See description under specific database name.
Health Library
(Consumer Health) Consumer health and patient education resource which is evidence based and free to the public. Thousands of health articles in English and Spanish, and 25 animations on medical procedures. Natural & Alternative Treatments, Herbs & Supplements and medical news called Journal Notes and much more are also included in this comprehensive source.
Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition
This resource provides nearly 550 scholarly full-text journals focusing on many medical disciplines, and offers access to 822 abstracted and indexed journals. Coverage of nursing and allied health is particularly strong.

Scopus replaces Web of Science for searching cited references. It contains abstracts and references from over 15,000, journals making it the largest single database of scientific research literature.
Turning Research into Practice TRIP
TRIP The TRIP Database provides direct, hyperlinked access to the largest collection of ’evidence-based’ material on the web, searching over 55 sites of high-quality medical information. Multiple resources can be searched simultaneously. Text is available.
VisualDx
VisualDx is multi-symptom differential diagnosis database. This database utilizes radiographic images and dermatologic photographs and illustrations for diagnostic assistance.
