Madison-Oneida BOCES Allied Health Partnership Program students visit the HSL

Students from the Madison-Oneida BOCES Allied Health Partnership Program accompanied by Tracy Merrell, Ph.D, RN. - Allied Health Instructor, and Nancy Pitman, Academic Integration Specialist visited the Health Sciences Library March 14th.

A highlight of the event was a stop at the Archives and Special Collections Department to view artifacts from the vault and chat with Archivist and Special Collections Librarian, Nicole Topich.

The event coordinated by Academic & Research Librarian, Christine Kucharski included an introduction to Navigating the Health Sciences Library Website and Instruction on searching medical specific databases and ebooks available via the Health Sciences Library.

Students arrived with individual research topics and utilized the Health Sciences Library medical databases and ebooks and completed their assignments for the day.

We welcome the students and instructors to return and explore the resources available at the Health Sciences Library to continue on their quest for excellence in scholarship.
