Who We Are

The Family Resource Center (FRC) is a unique service of the UPSTATE Health Sciences Library. Come meet our professional library staff, nurse educators and volunteers in our warm and welcoming environment.

Our Mission

Our team provides information and support for patients, families, and the community to help everyone make educated healthcare decisions.

Services

FRC services are free and confidential and include lending of books and media, research assistance, and providing information from medical literature and authoritative Internet sources. The FRC also supports hospital and other health professionals from across the region in locating patient education materials at appropriate literacy levels and in a variety of languages.
